About me
If there is no way, we can create one ourselves!

Hi! It's me, Nathalie!
Sparring partner between you and your mindset.

In short, I sometimes describe myself like this: a multi-passionate Belgian lady with a determined character and a strong mindset.
I moved abroad because I knew it would give me the chance to grow more, discover more, and enjoy life on my terms even more.

Thanks to online entrepreneurship, it became possible to combine several of my passions and practice them as a main profession.
In summary, my work consists on one hand of the petfriend- network Happy Fairytail and on the other hand of mindset coaching with Mindset Challenger.

I enjoy life as much as possible and would love to take you along on this journey!

A little bit more in detail?

As a child, I was always one to want to understand everything. Maybe I got stuck in that "why" phase kids sometimes have? Asking questions, trying to optimize or change things has always been one of my hobbies. Especially when I could challenge as well with "why not" questions.
Yes... It got me into trouble several times... But it mostly allowed me to take huge steps forward, and that gave me so much positive energy!

I grew up in a family who liked me to go for the more traditional way: go to school diligently and study instead of learning on the job. Think before you act. Consider always the long term.
So, to combine both worlds and to be able to do what I wanted from life, I conducted various side jobs from an early age on. This way I gained lots of life- and work experience, even before my first career step. I worked as a babysitter, hostess, security guard, product promoter, and much more. Nothing was impossible until proven differently.
Win-win I would say; because it meant more perspectives, a broader network, and greater freedom!

During my studies, I had the opportunity to live in Italy for a while. A unique chapter in my life. I learned so much from the Italian way of life and culture! Unfortunately, staying there long term wasn't possible back then, but one thing was clear: living abroad suited me!

"Now I am a proud business owner living the life towards my dreams"
Thanks to all these experiences, alongside a Master's Degree in Applied Economics, I also could bring a lot of practical experience when it was time to apply for "real" jobs.
That's when I discovered the multi-passionate neurodiverse sides of me. The sky was the limit! If I got myself motivated for a job, I could go all in. So I worked in event management, real estate, consulting, software development, sales & marketing, in both large and small companies, across various countries. All wonderful experiences for which I am very grateful!
But...something was missing: passion and the ability to move faster or more out-of-the-box.
So, I seized the opportunity to start my own business!

Now, I'm a proud entrepreneur with two companies where I can be completely myself, and the sky's the limit.

Meanwhile, I live in Switzerland, a country I now proudly call home because wow, it's amazing here! Adjusting to Swiss culture took some getting used to. As a Belgian, I'm more direct and proactive, while Swiss culture is more well-reasoned and diplomatic.
Soon I discovered, my challenging of "why" and "why not" questions wasn't always appreciated in the beginning. However, thinking differently often goes down well. I had to figure out how best to navigate that and balance out different approaches.
Living abroad changes you. It widens your perspective on daily life and gives you insights and life experiences you might never have otherwise gained. Luckily I'm naturally very curious, and I have only one addiction: learning and developing myself.

So, this life I am living fits perfectly as the icing on the cake, and who knows, what else will cross my way!
One of the things I learned the hard way on my journey, is to ask more questions instead of sharing my opinion or vision without being asked to.
Even though it was always well-intentioned advice, it can be overwhelming if the other person didn't ask for it. But sometimes it is stronger as myself, so I had to do something with it.

I started working on my own framework and wanted to move the needle with that. Then I was told several times should become a coach with that. With the overload of different types of coaches, I didn't see myself fitting in there. I saw myself more as a Challenger, a sparring partner.
I do enjoy asking questions, challenge the way we think, challenge the old theories, bring in the new scientific proof of things, work together with people who feel there is more possible but need some support with that,...
Then the time arrived to make my hobby more professional and learn about how such a coaching could work. And there it was: Mindset Challenger became a reality!
